I am interested to know what site you have preferred or do prefer. I am conducting research to see which one most professionals use. I know they may not be your choice of searching but they are for a lot so if you have used any of them, please do share.
Also, if you are a hiring manager and have used the services, which do you prefer?
Thank you.

Re: Which one: HotJobs/Monster/CareerBuilder
Sat, August 21, 2004 - 9:19 PMI am going to throw one in for tech professionals - Dice. I find it has better candidates but to tell you the truth, all job boards are a waste of time.

Re: Which one: HotJobs/Monster/CareerBuilder
Mon, August 23, 2004 - 2:38 PMI understand you feel that way guys but the facts are the facts:
800 billion dollars is spent a year for online recruiting etc. This is an incredible viable system and whether you feel it is a waste of time or not, the general public is using it!
So, if you have used them; which one?

Re: Which one: HotJobs/Monster/CareerBuilder
Mon, August 23, 2004 - 3:01 PMTry all of them- give it 90 days flush out what works best for you. Set up purchase packs- and agreements with vendors depending upon their schedules.
Monster is the leader and I used to work for TMP so I say try them out. they are really nothing more than traffic drivers, so think what is the biggest bang for my buck? If you need say 50 call center people in 14 day's monster or a similar site may be only a fraction of what it is you need to do to drive the traffic you need. -

Re: Which one: HotJobs/Monster/CareerBuilder
Tue, August 31, 2004 - 9:18 AMHi Tracy,
I have done benchmark research for the last year now. We have much greater success with Monster.
CareerBuilder has done some pretty cool things regarding diversity recruiting which I will be looking at closer in November during budget round planning.
Hot jobs is third on our list. We use them all.
Take care.

Re: Which one: HotJobs/Monster/CareerBuilder
Mon, September 20, 2004 - 2:05 PMI like Monster for the fact that they have more market share. If someone is going to post to one site only, it's probably gonna be Monster. -

Re: Which one: HotJobs/Monster/CareerBuilder
Thu, April 13, 2006 - 11:50 AMHi Tracy:
I personally like CareerBuilder because the site does not require a prospecive candidate to log into the site in order to search for a job. CareerBuilder also seems to be spending the money on advertising to get the traffic. I also like to post to niche boards depending on the position and the location. Hope this helps.
